- Open the page editor on the page you wish to edit.
- Click on the section with the background image you wish to adjust.
- In the section preferences draw that will appear on the right hand side of the editor click the image swatch under the ‘Fill’ field.
Please note: these steps are applicable to both desktop and mobile views, in this example we are adjusting the mobile section background, but the same can be done on desktop, if your image is larger than the section space.
- On the pop up, click the ‘Edit image’ button
- Here you can now see the image is the sole focus in the section (the text has disappeared) and if you hover of the section image you will see your cursor turn into a hand icon. This is to indicate that you can click and drag this image to the left or right, or up and down depending on which way your image is larger.
To adjust the part of the image that is in view all you need to do is click and then drag your cursor in the direction you would like to move the image. When you release your click you will see the image move in the direction. Repeat this until you are happy with the image’s position. If the image is no longer moving, this means you have hit the edge of the image and there is no more image to drag across.
- Once you are happy with the image, click the ‘Apply’ button and this will apply your changes. Please note, if you have adjusted this on mobile this will not affect desktop.
