How to Create and Embed a Donation Form

Follow the steps below to create a campaign, customise your donation form, and embed it on an external webpage.

1. Start by creating a new campaign or going into an existing campaign in the GiveEasy platform. 
2. Navigate to Settings > Embed Form

3. Toggle on the option to enable the embedded form feature.
4. Click ‘Edit Form’ to begin configuring your embedded form.
5. Select one of the two available form layouts, or choose to import an existing form you’ve previously created in your campaign.

6. Adjust the form fields, design, and behaviour as needed.
7. Click ‘Publish’ to save and activate your embedded form.
8. Confirm that the Embedded Form option is selected, then click ‘Next’.
9. Choose either the JavaScript or iFrame code snippet (we recommend JavaScript), and copy it.

10. Go to the external website where you want your donation form to appear.
11. Follow the instructions for your specific website platform to add an embedded HTML 
12. To ensure Apple Pay is enabled on your form please contact [e-mail] with the URL of the website you have embedded your form on.

Important Note: If you choose the JavaScript embed option, the form may not appear in your website platform’s visual editor. This is normal, it will display correctly on the live webpage.
